Sonic Trip have been a DJ/Producer duo since before their radio show on Kiss FM in 1997 producing and playing the best in Bouncy Hard House, Hard Dance and Trance (plus a bit of Oldskool Hardcore) for many years. Through the later years, XS and Banny went down different paths which led to different musical styles being produced and DJ'd incl. House, Hardcore, D'n'B, Trip Hop and Hip Hop. They both play a mixture of styles in their sets usually starting off with 125bpm House, speeding up as fast as 150bpm (depending on the mood) towards the end of a set and sometimes going a little faster into Hardcore D'n'B territory. Tune in for something a little different ;)

Zara has an extensive collection to keep even the most discerning underground music fan entertained.

Influences: With House music production being at an all time high it is hard to choose a short list of who influences my sets.. the only constant is four on the floor with a classic house bounce to get your body moving. These days its impossible to remember names and labels with so many producers crossing over sub genres and releasing under different alias’s on multiple labels, but if i was to give one name it would be Todd Terry.
Todd Terry has been on the scene since house music was born and still to this day is very relevant and keeps his constant stream of releases fresher than most.
HOUSE is my only real influence, my taste and style will draw from classic sounds of the past but always with a new twist
Background: Like most people of my generation I grew up surrounded by dance music, influenced by the stories and mix tapes from iconic Dublin dance clubs i developed a love for electronic club music from a young age.
At the age of 14 (1997) I bought my first set of turntables, my love for dj’ing has grown ever since. Although my first adventures on the wheels of steel was battle scratching hip hop records my love for dance music has been a constant in my dj life.
In 2006 I started to put together mixes heavily influenced by hed kandi and soul/funky house, from there my style change to big room progressive house with an electro twist. In 2010 I landed my first club gig and monthly residency at base bar (formally AKA) Dublin and with guest slots following soon after in a number of popular house music clubs around Dublin along side some of the cities most talented djs. Over the last few years I've held my own weekly house music show on phever and have had mixes featured on other domestic and international digital stations such as RTE pulse and Chicago house FM.
