Richie has been promoting reggae music in Ireland for the past 25 years. Both a renowned record collector and selector Richie has interviewed many reggae greats, among them eek a mouse, bunny lee, luciano, mikey general, the late junior delgado, reggae author harry hawkes.
During his 15 years broadcasting for his weekly 'reggae vibes' radio program on near fm, Richie also plays out regularly as shamrock hi-fi sound around Dublin city. Richies extensive knowledge of Jamaican music ensures listeners and dancers alike can expect to hear everything from foundation ska, rocksteady, rasta reggae right up to the latest dancehall and roots anthems coning out of the rock with particular attention to the new breed of conscious artists such as chronix, jah9, ib amahr, exco levi, protoje etc
